With only 2 more weekends left in 2011 and since I was a bartender as a young Hippo I thought I would post some holiday drink recipes to help bring more cheer. We scoured the internet looking for some good recipes for you to try out these final couple of weeks of 2011, here they are:

Healthy Mojitos

Since a lot of you are getting a kick start to your New Years Resolutions for 2012 I thought I would enlist the help of Kristine Fretwell from Busy But Healthy to help us out with the first one, if your looking for some delicious healthy food recipes that are also quick and easy to make, check out her site www.busybuthealthy.com

Juice of 1 lime
1 packets Stevia
6 Ice Cubes
1/2 tsp Rum Extract
1/2 can Plain Club Soda
10+ Fresh Mint Leaves

Place Lime Juice, Stevia, Rum Extract and Fresh Mint in a tall glass and muddle together with a spoon ( end of a wooden spoon works great too.) Add Ice Cubes, Soda, Additional Fresh Mint and Stir. Add more lime juice and/or Stevia to Taste. Although this recipe is a Mock-Tail (No Booze) just add some Rum and your Good to Go!
